My story

it wasn’t easy to start but. . .

For a long time, I lived like a wanderer – choosing solitude, tethering my heart to one person at a time, hoping they might carry what I could not. I was wounded and lost, searching for love outside of myself and outside of God, unaware that I had learned survival instead of love. With little sense of my own worth, no rooted identity, and no voice to name my needs, I moved through life unguarded and undefined.

Yet even in the midst of my mess and chaos, there was a quiet, steady longing to know God. And one day, He met me there. He led me into stillness, into His pasture, where striving ceased, perfection fell away, and His presence became undeniable. Freedom was released. It was there, under His patient care, that He began restoring what was broken, calling me by name, and shaping me into someone new.

In Him, I was given true life and purpose. I became a somebody – held in greater worth, filled with His overwhelming love, and deeply treasured. From that place, devotion grew – not from obligation, but from awe. He is my greatest treasure, and each day I find myself growing more aware of His nearness and more anchored in His love.

Where Am I From

I’ve lived in California my entire life. However, I grew up in Lancaster – then Los Angeles.

If I wasn’t a blogger I’d still find a way to talk about God.

Some of my favs is a gathering of soul-filling moments: cooking and exploring new dishes, sky-gazing in awe of God’s glory, wandering through quiet, reflective thoughts, and stretching into new understanding.

I’m more observant than expressive. I notice before I speak, listen before I respond, and often hold more than I share. I pay attention to what lingers beneath the surface.

I wrestle with God rather than perform for Him. My faith is honest, lived-in, and shaped through questions as much as answers. I’ve learned that intimacy with God is found in the struggle, not the presentation.

I sense shifts in atmospheres and moods quickly, which has taught me to value gentleness and emotional safety. I trust slow growth more than sudden clarity, believing healing and truth unfold in their own time. I’m more curious than opinionated, drawn to understanding, reflection, and the sacred beauty of becoming.
